Impression: Sometimes low expectations can work in your favor. I’d never been hard pressed to go to either Erlangen or try the Kitmann beers but decided to finally give both a go last year. I have to say I was very surprised by both. Kitmann was a charming place and we lucked out with nice weather to sit in their lovely small outside seating area. The Dunkles was a fine example of the style and went very well with the equally great food Kitmann set out. We’ll be back.

Next beer or back to the beer list.

    1. Good to hear. Sadly, it’s losing in popularity here but hopefully the craft beer scene that’s finally hitting Germany will bring it back to its rightful place. Hard to imagine that at one point, that’s all there really was.
