ix of malt and hops, quite dry for strength

Impression: Knoblach is rare for a small Franconian village brewpub in that they have many beers on tap, generally one from gravity dispense. The bock was only from a regular tap but it was not overly gassed, something these village brewpubs excel at. This one looked promising and more than lived up to its visual presentation. Like most of Knoblach’s beers, it’s quite hoppy, especially for a bock. Sometimes, a bock can seem on the sweet side if drunk after a few other lower octane brews but this one held its own easily.
